After finding inspiration in the beautiful deserts of Peru, filmmakerBernhard Wittich felt the music of Soulsavers’ latest album, The Light The Dead See(featuring lyrics and vocals from Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan), provided the perfect soundtrack to the strong landscapes surrounding him. Wittich set about creating his own story for album cut,‘Take’, and Soulsavers liked the results so much, they wanted to share the video with fans. Watch it below…

Wittich has said of the video,“When I heard ‘Take’ I imagined a journey that had its obstacles and difficulties that needed to be overcome. In the video you see a woman walking through different stages of her mind. She looks at the paintings and it triggers an abstract memory which leads us to one of the landscapes in Peru representing her state of mind. The idea was to keep it simple, minimalistic and spontaneous to not distract too much of this ambient driven song. We filmed in Lima, Canta and Ica.”
